The EA’s HR Consulting service features experienced HR professionals that focus specifically on providing you with “what you need, when you need it.” In other words, we can provide staff to help you with anything from day-to-day HR functions to long-term projects and analysis.

HR Temporary Assignments

HR continuity during leaves of absence or transitions. This can also be used to supplement existing staff in situations where you need additional short-term HR support, such as:

Meet the HR Consulting Staff! 

Seta Tchobanian, MBA (seta.tchobanian@theEA.org)
Director, HR Solutions and Consulting

Seta brings over 25 years of Human Resources and Training experience to the EA. Her strong HR Generalist background includes working for employers of all different sizes and well as industries including private, public and non-profit. Although originally from the Toledo area, the majority of Seta’s human resources experience comes from working in HR leadership roles for companies in the Cleveland Ohio area where she lived for 20 years prior to returning to Toledo. She received her BA in Business Management from the University of Toledo and her MBA from Cleveland State University. Seta is active in the community serving as a past member of the Owens Community College Marketing Advisory Board and currently is the Board President for Manahan in Holland, OH. She is also a girl scout troop leader and volunteers on school committees and with athletic booster events where her children attend.

Phyllis Cole, SHRM-SCP (phyllis.cole@theEA.org)
Senior HR Consultant

Phyllis brings 30 years of HR experience to the EA, and assists member companies with various projects related to HR. In addition to her HR expertise, Phyllis has served in leadership roles in the HR Community holding various Officer positions for Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association (NOHRA). She also served on the Ohio Human Resources Conference committee (through Ohio SHRM) as well as the Toledo Area HR Associations’ Conference (THRAC) for many years. Phyllis earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo and her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Findlay.

Chris Henning, SHRM-SCP, CBP (chris.henning@theEA.org)
Senior HR Consultant

Chris brings 30+ years of HR experience to the EA.  She has held HR leadership positions in construction, manufacturing, and agriculture organizations. She retired from The Andersons in March 2021 before joining The EA in May 2021. Chris earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources from the University of Toledo.

For the last 9 years, Chris focused on benefits administration for The Andersons. She has successfully led the Company’s $32M benefits budget by providing cost-effective benefits. She led the benefits integrations for many acquisitions; played a key role in moving the annual Open Enrollment process from paper to online resulting in a huge cost savings for the organization; implemented a new medical carrier and other benefits vendors; and oversaw the wellness program for over 2500 employees. Prior to her role at The Andersons, she worked in a HR management role at Rudolph/Libbe Inc. for 19 years and First Solar for 3 years.

During her career she has also served in leadership capacities of several organizations, including the Toledo Area Human Resource Association (TAHRA), now know as NOHRA, Ohio Human Resource Conference Committee, and the Ohio SHRM State Council, serving as a Board member or as a Committee Chair. Chris holds a certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management and is a certified Benefits Professional with WorldatWork.

Randy Lucas (randy.lucas@theEA.org)
HR Manager

Randy comes to The EA with nearly twenty years of experience in human resources. The most recent fourteen are within hospital acute care. Also within his background are several years of college advising, real estate, and social services/crisis intervention experience. After completing his baccalaureate at Bowling Green State University in communication and psychology, he left Ohio for the West Coast. Living in California, Arizona, and Washington before returning to the Northwest Ohio.

In addition to working within social services/crisis intervention, he volunteered with many community support environments such as suicide prevention, emotional support, runaway shelters, and community speakers’ bureaus. Randy also volunteered on several political campaigns in various capacities.

Colleen Neidert (colleen.neidert@theEA.org)
Senior HR Consultant

Colleen brings over twenty+ years of experience in the human resources field to her consulting engagements. She has served in a human resource generalist capacity for technology, manufacturing and engineering companies, most of which were in HR leadership roles, including responsibility for safety, corporate services, wellness and training. She enjoys all aspects of the profession, especially the opportunity to contribute positively to the culture of a company and its team members. Prior to her career transition to human resources, Colleen was employed in the marketing and sales fields for companies in the retail, healthcare and employment industries in Toledo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Philadelphia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University, with a major in French. Colleen has been active in her church, serving as a Sunday School teacher, the director of a development campaign, and an adult chaperone for mission projects.
