The EA wins the 2020 Healthy Workplace Highest Award

The Employers’ Association (EA) wins the 2020 Healthy Workplace Highest Award.

This award, given yearly by the Healthy Business Council of Ohio, recognizes organizations for the work done in promoting employee wellbeing.
The Healthy Worksite Award recognizes Ohio employers who demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.
We are honored to achieve this award for our internal EA Wellness program. I believe that our passion to promote a culture that lives out wellness and wellbeing was a springboard for our success to pivot in tough circumstances. Although who could have predicted this pandemic, fortunately a year ago we teamed up with experts in the areas of resilience, brain health, weight loss and mental health which allowed us to quickly deliver meaningful support for our own staff, our members and partners. Shoulder to shoulder, we experienced the same trials as our member organizations and continue to learn and grow as we do our best to model a culture that truly cares about each other.
-Kelly Knaggs, EA Wellness Vice President
All applications were reviewed and evaluated using objective criteria. Four levels of high achievement were awarded in 2020 —Bronze, Silver, Gold and, new in 2020, Platinum, being the highest level.
The EA will be honored along with other winners during the virtual In-Value-Able Virtual Conference Series in February 2021.
