You and your team are invited to join us for The EA’s 2019 Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting. We’re honored to have as our keynote presenter this year Anthony A. (Tony) Cucolo III, Major General, U.S. Army Retired and Associate Vice Chancellor of The University of Texas System.

Tony served more than 35 years in the U.S. Army, retiring at the rank of Major General in September 2014. As a General Officer in the last eleven years of his military career, he led Soldiers in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, led operational analysis teams in combat zones and on natural disaster recovery efforts such as Hurricane Katrina, and commanded the largest Army base east of the Mississippi. Other assignments during this time period included developing a $35B equipment program for the Army, serving as the U.S. Army’s Chief of Public Affairs, and service as president of the U.S. Army War College, an accredited master’s level institution for national security professionals.
Tony is currently the Associate Vice Chancellor at the University of Texas System, the oversight organization for the second largest public university system in the nation, comprising eight universities and six medical centers. His duties have included leadership development for students and employees, coordinating support for all veterans within the System, and he now focuses on academic outreach to the federal government. Additionally, he guides the System’s Faculty Advisory Council, and is a senior mentor for several U.S. Army senior leader development programs.
